Baby Update....

So went to the doctor this morning....Kaleb is good and strong. HIs little heart was going all fast and steady. He actually stayed in one place this time and didn't move to get away from the doctor. Usually the doctor has a hard time keeping the heartbeat going for very long because Kaleb is on the move. I think he is running out of places to go though...getting too big. His head has dropped...and boy do I feel it! It's the worst when you run to the bathroom and go only a little bit...I always want to say ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?! All that running for this little bit!!!

So somehow on Saturday I woke up with a throbbing heel. I think I bruised it somehow. Anyway now when I have to go to the bathroom I look like an injured duck...because I waddle and limp. I guess it is a funny sight. My kids tend to get a kick out of it.

Life is good thus far. We are in the house and slowly unpacking everything. We actually have pictures on the wall now. I didn't realize how many pictures we have accumulated over the past two years..ok year and a half....But now we have more wall space!!! We can now space things out and not cram everything on one or two walls...We had a ton of pictures in a box from our previous move too. Lots to choose from.

The baby room is still full of stuff that isn't baby related...like old clothes, and bags of blankets...etc. We have a few of the big things...We now have a pack n play (aka play pen), three car seat anchors, a high chair...we have a carseat to take him home in, but no stroller. Still need lots of stuff...and we are just realizing how much we still need to prepare for Kaleb. The hardest part is that I have so much to prepare for school before he comes too. I guess it is a blessing that we can't go to Cancun with my family. I'll have a week to work on preparing school stuff and work on Kaleb's room. I'd like to get a set of drawers or something for his room....lots to do.

Road

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Watch Dog

So we have the DISH guy here this morning to set up our satelite. Rocky won't let the guy out of his sight. It's funny that such a little dog thinks he's big and bad and that he can protect me. The guy will head upstairs and Rocky is at his heals, then back down...Rocky will race down to beat him so he can make sure to claim his territory before the guy gets downstairs. Once the guy goes outside to work, Rocky sits on the floor inbetween every door in the house. He is there perched with his fox like ears pointing straight up in the air. We still don't have much out of boxes, or else I'd put a picture up here of it. It's hilarious!

Houses...

We went on our final walk through of the house...Everything is done and ready for us to move in. The underwriter now has our fate in his hands. THis is a fun time trying to figure out what is going to happen.

Lisa, Josh, Sarah, and all the kids are out here now. I love it! I took today off so that I could spend more time with them. They are throwing me a baby shower tonight. I can't wait. FInally we will have something for this little munchin growing inside me. He will soon have a room too. Everything is falling into place...now its just up to us to keep up with normal life expectations...like right now I really shouldn't be blogging I should be doing homework for this class I have to take to renew my teaching license. blah blah blah....It is so boring. School laws are really long and boring. But if you think about it really needed. I could also be actually be doing report card comments too...arg...being a teacher is a lot of work. LONG LONG hours.

Way too much

Ok so I know that I am kind of asking for it being a communication major taking a class about close relationships that one day we would talk about sex and communication. Well that day was today. I feel that I know way too much about my fellow classmates and am glad that at the very least that I am married this time around.

I am amazed at the lack of value that people have on that aspect of relationships and how they treat it.

Still no news

We still have no news on the house we put an offer on. But I should be more patient....after all this is all happeneing really really fast.

Lisa and Saha are coming this week! I cannot wait! I am so excited that I get to spend the entire day with them on Friday!

Life is going well...we are having fun feeling Kaleb jump, kick, push, shove....or whatever it is that he is doing every 5 minutes!! I was looking at that belly cam...and can't believe how big he is getting. I have to go get that wonderful glucose test this week...last time I took it I was miserable...I hope that it isn't that bad this time. The nice thing is that pregos only have to take an hour long test...the one before took three hours and I got blood drawn 7 times. My doctor said that if I fail this one I have to take the three hour one....I hope that my sugar is ok. I never want to go through that torture again! Odds are that I am ok since I have the hypoglyciemia tendencies which is the complete opposite to diabetic tendencies.

School is getting full of stress like always around this time of the year. We have our huge CRT tests in a week. Which is rediculous if you ask me...since I apparently am supposed to teach the entire 4th grade curriculum by March...when the school year continues on through June. WHere is the logic in this? The nice thing is that the kids get to have life long learning after the tests. Where they can enjoy themselves and I can enjoy the teaching. HOpefully they do well and learn from all the cramming I put them through. Report cards are of course due in the middle of this testing....so I have lots and lots to catch up on...plus the whole uncertainty of houses (yes plural...)

Well i'm off to eat breakfast....
